The 14th Annual Books in Bloom is a celebration for writers and readers! Authors visiting us this year include Chris Bohaljian, Wiley Cash, and “Pete the Cat” creator James Dean. Books in Bloom, a FREE event, brings writers and readers together through the medium of books in such a way that enhances, broadens, and deepens the uniquely human experience of reading.

Over the course of the afternoon, hundreds of readers and those interested in writing can attend author presentations and have conversations with writers who are very successful in their genres, as well as, purchase books and have them signed by the authors.

Books in Bloom is presented by the Carroll and Madison Public Library Foundation. The Foundation serves the six libraries in Carroll and Madison counties. Books in Bloom is its signature event.
